Stephen Schwartz's multiaward-winning 1972 musical tells the coming-of-age story of Pippin, the ambitious youth who, after having finished his studies, is looking to find real meaning and purpose in his life. In the form of an allegorical journey, he gets introduced to a variety of life choices by the mysterious Leading Player and his troupe, after which Pippin is forced to decide on which path to take in order to reach spiritual fulfillment.

This production was awarded First Prize, Prize for Best Choreography, Prize for Best Direction, Prize for Best Musicality (Gergely Dánielfy, Leading Player) and Prize for the Best New Talent of the Year (Christian Mechle, Pippin) by the Hungarian National Festival of Youth Musical Theatre in 2016.
