ISADORA
Based on Martin Sherman’s acclaimed play ’When She Danced’, 'Isadora' is the musical dramatization of the poignant love story between American dancer Isadora Duncan and Russian poet Sergei Yesenin. Surrounded by artists of numerous nationalities in her Parisian home, this gripping musical depicts one of the last days of Isadora’s life with a powerful pastiche score that also brings the hurdy-gurdy world of 1920s Paris alive.
After its critically acclaimed Budapest premiére - which was made possible with the generous support of Mr Sherman himself - there are now plans for a London production in the nearer future.
