'Who am I anyway?' - A colorful mosaic of personal self-definitions: that creates the basis for the story of one of the world's longest-running musicals, A Chorus Line. Adapted and re-titled as 'Pictures at an Audition', Adyak Theatre Company's award-winning production of A Chorus Line takes place at a hallway, where several young, excited applicants - not only dancers, but also aspiring singers and actors - are waiting for their call. Their only wish is to prove that they are the people the Director is looking for. As the tension grows almost unbearable between them, their past experiences, fears, frustrations and hopes find shape in diverse songs.
This production was awarded First Prize and the Prize for Best Direction and Best Musical Actress (Fruzsina Szabó, Cassie) by the Hungarian National Festival of Youth Musical Theatre in 2005.
